Great location, larger sites than most National Parks.

Small park on the North end in town, owners remodeling office and apartment above, some yearly residents, big laundromat (open to the public). All gravel sites, except grass tent sites. 30 amp at all sites, some have 50amp also. Friendly owners. 20 miles from Bryce Nat. Park. We used Good Sam.

We were here for 2.5 weeks and paid the monthly rate. We have family in the area and stumbled across Boones, very nice workers and owners, very clean park and the bathrooms are great.

We used our Good Sam discount and were here with a group for a pre-rally. We have been here before and have enjoyed our stay. Very nice owners and very close to RV Museum, factories and Amish Country. Level sites and they are grassy also. Some areas are close together, new power being upgraded in sections.

Very nice and clean park, area by lake is crowded and more for tents. Some lots have 50a, dump is in center of park. Very nice staff, close to town and have shuttle pickup for ferry to Island.

This is a membership campground, we stayed a guests of Escapees for that price. No sales pitch given to us, but our stay was during Sturgis Bike Rally, very busy. Park was very well kept and the activities were plenty. We would like to stay again if possible.

Nice park, level sites, lots of grass. Park needs some clean up, lots of area workers staying at this time, nice family running park. We stayed here on Passport America for 2 nights. If traveling through again we would probably stay again.

Very nice park, close to town and in the center of Door County. Staff very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again when in the area.

Driveway still not fixed, use caution. We stayed for 2 nights on Passport America, for that it's OK, if we are paying the full price???? Some sites have been upgraded to 50 amp, HOT & WINDY place. Campground is for sale.

No Pool, but they have a beach area on the river which is very nice. Very busy place, units coming and going all the time. Very close to town and all the activities there.

We use discounts clubs, this park is nice, lots of gravel but well kept. Close to town and activities there.

We were able to relocate to a shady spot after the first day, there are not many shade areas that work for both morning and afternoon sun. The staff was very nice and the swimming pond was refreshing. There were not a lot of spaces taken on the weekend that we stayed here. This looks like it will be very nice when the work is completed.

This is a cash or check only campground. We have a 40 foot rig and fit into a space without any problems. I did not see anything for kids to do other than play in the river that runs along the campground. There are no bathrooms or showers. Our spot was in the area of mobile homes, but they were well kept up. Park was very clean and kept up. This is the only campground in the town other than one that is in a gravel/dirt lot adjacent to the Indian Springs Resort, where there are great mineral baths and a pool. We would stay again at this park.

Good Sam discount applies to rate. Very clean city owned park. River runs along side of park where people were putting in Kayaks and tubes and floating down stream. We had no WIFI signal from where we were at, I did not know they had wifi. Lots of trees, no satellite signal, but good local channels. 1st come park, no reservations accepted, but you can call early and put your name on a list. Right in town and close to everything. 14 day limit.

I agree with the previous rating, we stayed in one of the upgraded sites (not paved), some of the older sites were close together, only a couple of feet between slides. If they are going to upgrade the whole park, it will be even better.

We spent 5 nights here and enjoyed them all. The grounds were very well kept and the pool & shower area were very clean. They have a large laundry area with 8 washers & dryers at very reasonable prices. They had activities planned throughout the week. 18 hole golf course, we were overlooking the 9th fairway, makes me want to consider taking up golf. Very quiet location, only 20 miles from Spokane if you felt you needed to go there. We are looking forward to spending time here again, when we are passing through.

We have read the past reviews and have found this park to be the best in the area. It is well maintained and cared for. Both the manager couples were very friendly and helpful to all the people we saw them with. They even would stop by if they saw you outside, to see how everything is going and to offer insight of events that are currently going on in the area. The showers are pay, and some of the river front sites are close together for units with slides. We were off the river and had plenty of room to stretch out, and could hear the river running all the time. We had a great time here and we stayed for 5 nights.

This is a county run park on the river front. Dump site is available. Great spacious areas, very well maintained. 30 amp only. Cement pads with patio at each site. Also has a great park and pavilion with a swimming beach and boat launch area. Disabled Vet discount. Some road noise from US 97.

Very nice park, sites are spacious and grassy with some shaded areas. Park was very well kept and workers were always cleaning or upkeeping. We stayed here for 3 days.

Great park our site overlooked the ocean and had a great view of a lighthouse. Paper delivery every morning with activities list inside. Pathway down to the ocean. Prices vary depending on your location and view, we splurged and went for the best. Great seafood in town and the best chowder is at the Chowder Bowl on Nye Beach.

We stayed here for 16 nights, the park is very clean and well kept. We did read some of the past reviews and found that there were no current problems. The sites are larger with concrete pads and grass to enjoy. There is a lack of area for recreation as far as kids go. The laundry facilities are very large and reasonable. We have family across the river, but visited all the other campgrounds in the area and found this one to be the best. Very close to everything. The airplanes do make some noise at times, especially when the fighters take off, but none of this is heard during the nights.

Sites were tight, our motorhome is 39 feet with a slide on each side and we were edge to edge with no place to park our toad except in a auxiliary parking area.

Park was well maintained, restrooms were very clean. Park is on a hillside, not much flat area except the pad you park on. We stayed here for 9 days while visiting family. We would return.

We spent only 1 night here, visiting friends that winter here. This park is a county run park and was very clean and neat. Sites were large with plenty of room for our slides and awning. Plenty of activities planned nightly. Close to fishing pier on a bay off of the Gulf. Very well kept. We were here in a 38' motorhome and will be returning when in the area.

This is an Escapee park, and members receive a cheeper rate. Close to the interstate with great views of the mountains. A short ride into town, there are some interesting things to see there. Plenty of activities & get togethers planned for guests, very friendly manager & hosts. Park is very clean, large laundry area and restrooms and showers are very clean.

We stayed here for an over night. Private park with not much to offer other than cheep prices, on the honor system. Good electric and water pressure. Just outside of town and close to the interstate for easy on/off. Showers and bathrooms were clean, even while being renovated. All gravel level lot.

Great park and the owners and the managers were very helpful and friendly. Bathrooms are large and very clean, the laundry room also was very clean and well kept. Sites are shaded, although we were here in the winter. Park hosted dinners and game nights along with holiday get togethers. We were visiting family in town and spent a lot of time with them but did attend most of the park functions. We were in a premium site which overlooked a large pasture with horses and longhorns. Sites were very clean and had plenty of room to move around in. The road noise was minimal at that site but we also stayed at a site close to the road and did hear some road noise. We stayed here in a 38' motorhome for 5 weeks (great weekly & monthly rates). We will be returning.

Very well kept park. Big sites with a great pavillion. The restrooms and showers were all very clean and well kept up. Close to old Air Force Base and Air Museum. Easy to get to from Interstate 57. Ten rigs were here with our group and we all will return as a group again.

Very nice and well kept State Park. We were only here on an overnight, but we are planning a return for a longer stay. Nice trail system within the park, trees over roadways are big rig friendly.

Easy access to interstate. This is an older park trying to update. We had some questionable electric problems with some of the coaches with us, low voltage on some posts. Some of the restroom stalls were OOS, as were some shower stalls. There was standing water on some lots after a rain that remained for 2 days. We stayed here with 5 other coaches.

Very nice park, one of the originals. Some of the turns were tight with a big rig, but the lots were larger. Laundry area very well kept, snack shop great with hot food available. Only 10 miles from Gatlinburg.
